Prayer

Why do we pray and what do we obtain by praying?

Prayer is our general chatting with our Father God and the Holy Spirit. It is our simple way of having a conversation with the deity whom  we love and adore.

Whenever you talk with God just be yourself, open and honest, for our Father God and the Holy Spirit already knows before we ask, what is in our heart and what we need.

Prayer is our means of celebrating God, and a means of reinforcing our connection to God. Prayer reinforces our faith. We focus on talking to God and through our faith we are able to help others.

When we pray something magical happens, as we are stand in awe in the presence of an awesome, Almighty, All powerful and all-knowing God.

If you haven’t yet prayed today, take time out now to close your eyes, whatever you are doing, and pray to our Father God, thanking Him for all the blessings in your daily life that you have received from Him.

God will always answer your prayers,  and sometimes He will even give you more than you ask Him for.

With many prayerful blessings

I am an author and broadcaster. In January 2013 I very nearly died but our Father God healed me and I am still alive to tell the tale! I have written/edited several books about the Bible, God, the Holy Spirit and Jesus. My future ministry is focused on outreach. I do not just want to preach to the converted but to many people 'out there' who do not know Jesus as their Saviour and who are in great need of His love and compassion. Praise be to the Lord our God, our Heavenly Father
